I bought a couple junk tractor and wondered if the pto units are the same off a super C and B as the super A. My super a does not have the side ways pto on it and wondered if i could pull it off a b or super c .

The super c has the belt pully and the b just has the shaft. My super a has the lower shaft , but not the top side mount. Thanks.

I can't specifically answer your question, I can only say "probably", as most IH tractors had "industrial" versions. But, in some cases it could have been just a different color paint. Others had more extensive differences.

The "top side pto" is for belt pulley and fitting from one tractor mite not always work. The best and only way you will know from what parts you have would be to take apart and go from there.
