does anyone have any pictures of all the peices befor they go on the tractor. i have some and have never figured out if i have all the peices.

maddog sent pics with them on the tractor but i dont know if i have the complete package. i dont have a model of it or a manual.

also does the drawbar go forward with them? it looks like the peices that attach to the final drives have discs instead of sweeps. maybe i'm confused, i dont have a camera to post pics with so that is a drawback.

anybody close to talihina ,okla that has the knowledge? sure would like to get it hooked up. also have plow.

Go to your Case-International dealer and order an operator's manual for the 144 cultivator for the Super A. It has good pictures and instructions. It also shows several different cultivators for quick-hitch and without quick-hitch. It also shows several different styles with pictures of plows, hillers, spring tooth cultivators and also fertilizer set up.

Dealer, oh that is going to hurt. i've ordered several things from them and they are expensive.

I have bought manuals from a Case-International dealer before. They were not expensive even for my budget. Try them. You may be surprised.

I have bought operator's and parts manuals. If it too expensive I will copy and mail to you for my costs.

i just ordered it from binder books instead. easier than dealing with the dealer.

i wonder which plow i have now. ordered 2 different manuals probably still didn't get the right one.

I dont know anything about plows either. just a single breaking plow is all i know. does have the cutter on it also.

Binder books has an excellent reputation on price and quality. I have three Case-International dealers near me. How much was the cultivator manual? I use a Yanmar rototiller behind my Kubota tractor and also a one bottom plow that is three point so I have not seen anything on the plows for the Super As.

banjo,
Hugh can tell you better than I can. But, the front portions have 2 sides and the frame shanks go in the tube behind the front axle and are clamped there. The rear portions are 2 sides again..nothing to them but a frame that goes in a hole in the final drive housing and you can clamp whatever kind of sweep or disc hiller you want on the frame..these rear parts sorta look like a crooked L. NO drawbar is used with them....the drawbar would run over your plants! Your cultivators straddle your crop..so the center of the tractor has to be clear of obstructions..no drawbar! Clear as mud? Mine are mounted, pix probably wouldn't help you.

thats a little more than i knew before. the front peices i have look comlete. it has a short bar with a long coil spring that attaches to the front rockshaft and the square bare that goes in the tube with 2 sweeeps hanging down.plus some other peices that all connect.

the rear peices has the mounting plate(flange) that goes to the final drive houseing, with a small plate with a small hole to attach to the rear rockshaft with ? mine has nothing. Does it use a chain or flat bar to lift and lower?

There are two lift rods that attach to the rock shaft and these have springs on them..sorta like shock absorbers. I have the 144 manual...if I had a copier I'd send you the pix. I have bought more damned manuals in the last 2 months than ever in my life and from what I can see, mostly a waste of money. None of this stuff is rocket science and it is crazy for every one of us to own a personal copy of each and every manual ever printed. There ought to be an archive showing the exploded diagrams found in these books and make them printable.

just read your post and too late ordered the manual.

sounds like my cultivators are complete. now if i can only come up with the rear rockshafts for my tractor. wish people would leave the original peices on the tractor or at least make it mandatory that they stay with the tractor . make it a crime to sell with out them.
