What is the proper shade of yellow is used on the Industrial 9 IH?
Also my tractor has a hydraulic brake master cylinder with hoses going to rear. What was this used for, and are parts available?

I strongly doubt that there is a "correct" yellow. These tractors would have been painted the shade or color that the buyer specified. I have seen them painted yellow, highway orange, and even Burlington Northern green. As to the hydraulic brakes, I know those were an option, I can only guess that the hoses going to the rear were to operate the brakes on a machine being towed.

Red or Orange were both no cost standard factory available colors. (I think the orange was what is now called Safety Orange). Any other color could be had for a additional charge. If I were using yellow I would recommend modern Federal Yellow sometimes called Industrial Yellow.
