43 H - lost right brake

Hey all, I have been hibernating all winter and my H too.

However last weekend I was pulling some trees and when the right tire began to spin in the dirt I apply a lot of pressure on the right brake pedal and I think something broke, because now the pedal goes to the floor and does not apply any stopping power. For looking at my service manual I would tend to guess that I broke the band or the cam components…..

any suggestions ??…..I guess I just need to get the thing apart and look.

Bettin it's the cam, remove the brake cover, only 2 parts inside, cam and band.

The first thing to do is make sure the shaft is moving with the brake pedal when you apply the brake, or that a pin didn't just fall out of the linkage somewhere. Not too likely, but it does happen.

Probably. I have some servicable bands and or other componets if you need them.

I am also looking for some brake bands for my 39H. I stomp on the brakes and nothing. I know I need to take the covers off and take a look but I am sure it will need a brake job. Do you have bands for a 39H?

I'm sure I can find some. Go ahead and tear it apart and make sure what you need. Sometimes the cams and pins get rusted up pretty bad too.
