I have been given this farmall 340 it has a three point conversion, and a wide front. I restore AC tractors. If anyone is interested in this tractor, or has any ideas e-mail me. I am trying to figure out to restore, or not to restore. Any thoughts on value of running verses not running???I have all the pieces, and it is in restorable shape.

Well most of the parts that we have neede for our 340U were readily availible, and usually were fairly inexpensive.

You can't knock a freebee! The 340 is kind of a nitch tractor; too old to be new and too new to be old. Parts are available but can be spendy depending on what you would need to do a full restoration. It has the C-135 engine and i see it has a torque amplifier. The sheet metal can be hard to find but you said you had everything for it. They were produced from '58 to '63. Good luck what ever you decide to do with it.
