Super A seal replacement

I need to replacement the front seal on the crank of my 1950 Super A. I need to know if the bottom pulley is screw on or pull off.

They forgot to say that the steering sector assy has to be removed before the pulley can be removed.

The pulley on an A is a pull off type and must be the same for a Super A. You have to pull from behind the pulley as close to the shaft as possible.

Here's a pulley puller designed for a Cub, but with a little modification will pull that pulley using a hydraulic jack or ram. Here's the web site. Hal

The bottom front pully is a pull off. If you do a seach for the topic in the archives you will find many messages talking about how to remove it. You have to be careful that you don"t damage the pulley or crank when you remove it.
