Are you sure it says "Hi-Clear" on it? If so, it is not a utility style tractor. The Hi-Clear is a row crop tractor with drop housings on the back axles and raised front spindles. They are not an uncommon tractor, especially in the South. The 350 High Utility, on the other hand, is rare, having only been made in 1958 and in limited numbers. It is a true utility style tractor but with 38" tires on the back instead of the standard 28" on normal utility tractors. There's no way that I know of to be certain of the number built, but it has been reported that there were 766 made. They were serial numbered right along with the rest of the 350's with only the addition of "HU" at the end of the serial number so they were not numbered separately and that makes it difficult to be sure of the exact number built. You could contact a Case-IH dealer or maybe even Red Power magazine might be helpful to you. I have a 350 High Utility, serial #17432. Let me know if you learn more about them.
