Don"t wimper about it! Post your question again! Add as many details as you can! I"ve had questions before that I didn"t get an answer for. All you can do is try it again, as many times as necessary. Eventually, you"ll get an answer, and you"ll probably come across better than you do by complaining about it. And like someone else mentioned, you didn"t have to pay anything to post your question, so it"s not like you"re out anything by not getting an answer. Never, NEVER forget, that use of these forums is a priviledge, not a right, and that nobody is obligated to answering your every whim. If nobody has an answer, then nobody has an answer. Try again, but don"t complain about it.

You've got to realize that that is how free online forums work, my friend. The quality of the answer depends on the quality of the question, and plain old dumb luck. It's nothing personal. Nobody is OWED an answer. Keep in mind what you paid for the advice, the access... Zero, zip, zilch, nothing, nada... You've got nothing to complain about.

If your first attempt didn't get an answer, don't post another thread whining about it. TRY AGAIN, but rephrase the question, add more details, make your question more specific.

Marty,
I've often found searching the archives very helpful. There is hardly a question that hasn't been answered several times over, and I find I get a more complete answer if I read through all of the previous posts on the subject, plus I'm always in a hurry.

dave: your absolutely correct, there can't be a single item on a Farmall H untouched in those archives. Why I've even seen the same question on an H in 3 different threads on the 10 or 12 pages of of exposed discussion at given times in the past. They sure know how to wear out the fingers of those giving advice.

I will admit those archives can be a bit trying, same subject can get a lot of different titles. But then, the whole internet system is that way. It just proves we don't speak a common language. I was on google awhile back looking for info on Switchgrass, native grass of 60% of North America. How could one ever imagine there could be 60,000 entries. I did print what I considered to be a complete scientific anaylsis of this plant and have it all on 3 pages. How could 60,000 entries write something different and astounding about Switchgrass.

They don't, it covers every grass known to man, yes even whacky tobacco. Even covers much of the legume family. There were even stories about social welfare, you name it, it was in there.

Hugh,
You seem to have the patience to answer the same questions ad nausium, and while I admire that, I'm afraid it's just not in my nature. When I see the almost daily questions on serial numbers oil changes, and wiring diagrams, it's best if I just ignore them. Like the switchgrass example, when plowing through the archives I alway learn something I didn't expect to getting where I wanted to go. Betcha you now know a little more about wacky weed than you expected:)

Now that the weather's heating up, we're overdue for another 100 discussions on paint codes.

Marty,

Click on the link below to open a thread, and look at my post at the bottom of the thread (Bob),

Then, cut and paste the links I listed there to the Cub collector Site.

Post back as to whether those help you any, or are they too new?

(I'll just post the links AGAIN here):

Marty: Just went and found your question. If you have or can find an operators manual for your tractor, those manuals always had excellent wiring diagrams.

Another thing you can try is direct your question a bit more. Don't say just "wiring" It doesn't draw attention. Put in something like "Farmall A wiring problem?" That will stir someone.

That A will be a mag system and I don't have your answers. There are lots of guys on here that will. I'm not surprised you didn't get a responce.
