Comon, guys. Cut the guy a little slack. Some of us modify our tractors as we see fit and to suit whatever the job is and there are other jobs than just pulling a plow. I have a Case VAC that blew the engine and I installed a B&S big cast iron 9HP and it will pull rings around my Cub. It would be a sight for sore eyes on e-bay though. I wouldn"t paint it JD green though. We have to draw the line somewhere.

I am not cutting on the guy, i personally think it would be quit handy with that boom lift on(i never seena 560 with that type of loader. Its just the ugly color and j.d. weights on the back of the tractor.

I agree with old that it looks more oliver than anything. Especially the front bolster. Does the IH 560 have the plugs on the left? would be nice to see a clear photo of the panel and gauges.

It's a 560 alright. Enough shows in the pics to determine that. Looks like it'd be a handy sucker to have around too. Major drawbacks I can see are- 1 Priced a bit high ESPECIALLY for a non-running tractor, who knows what might really be wrong with it or whether the hydraulic cylinder that runs that hoist is any good. 2 Whatever the deal is where the steering wheel is missing seems like it'd be awkward as heck. 3 Definitely would need a paint job(or at least sandblasted!!!).

its definetly a 560. manifold on the left, spark plugs on the right. Though you might have to disconnect 4 of the spark plug wires HAHA!
