Farmall C --- How to add oil? What are the two valves used for that are located on the oil pan (Left side)? Do I remove the hood to locate the add-oil site?

There is an oil breather/fill cap right in the center of the hood. Pull straight up and add oil.

The two petcocks on the side of the pan are where you check the oil level. Fill to where oil runs out of the upper petcock. As long as oil will run out of the lower petcock you are good to go. When oil only just drips out of the lower petcock it is time to add oil. Do NOT fill above the upper petcock.

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR NEW TRACTOR.
