Does anyone have any ideas on where to get a good hood and grill for a C Farmall? I am trying to find one. Also, what was the blue color that Farmall put on the bottoms of their culivators on C, H, and M tractors. Does anyone know what color it was or an equivalent color? I sure would appreciate and answer.

Ace hardware IH blue is good if you have NAPA stores they can get the correct paint, also I have a good restoreable hood(NEEDS PAINT)for $50.00 I bought it for a LP powered C that was converted to gasoline and then sold it without the hood so it's just laying around

If a reproduction hood for your C will do, Mark's Tractors, 2636 County Road 2300 E, Gillford, IL 61847 217-694-4735 handles them. Price listed in Red Power Magazine is $100.00 plus $15.00 for shipping. Hope this helps.

You should check with your local auto parts store that sells paint. They may have a paint chip. We used a Toyoto blue for painting our mobile field dynamometers. I can email you a picture if you want to see the color. This was acrylic enamel with hardener, but PPG has discontinued
the acrylic enamel. Dupont may still make it.

Here's a web site for tractor salvage yards. Hal

I've used Ace Hardware brand "IH Blue" on implements in the past. The color is very close, but will fade if left outside.
