I know how annoying these "how much is it worth?" questions are, so I appologize in advance, but we really have no idea how much to ask for our 105 International combine. We weren't going to sell it but the guy just stopped by and asked. He said he wants the motor more than the rest of it, because he says that the C-135 is junk, and he always likes to keep a spare. The shakers have a few holes, but are still working. It has several belts and pulleys that are in like new or new condition, and which can no longer be purchased. Any ideas? Thanks.

First of all, your potential buyer would turn me off big time with an opinion that the motor in a machine that he wants to buy by calling it junk. Why does he want it then????? ??? Second , he is showing his complete ignorance because the 105 combines have a 153 inch motor, not a 135!!!!! !. If it were me, and somebody treated me like that, I would say not for sale. Boy, the nerve of some a--holes!!! Or better yet string him along for a good long while, and after you have had tha satisfaction of pulling his chain..... ..... QR..

Oops! I meant 153, not 135. Yeah, he said that he heard they are known for throwing oil pumps and throwing rods through the sides of the block. He said he wants one to replace the one in his 105 because it is starting to lose oil pressure when it runs awhile. So it will be going into his 105.

As a combine collector I sure hate to see good older combines junked as so few are left.I'll bet he wants the engine for a tractor.I never knew the C-135's to be junk.

The 105 IH is worth $500 tops, maybe less.A week ago I watched a nice running 3490 MM SP combine sell for $25 at an estate sale.It was too far away and I would have had to hired it hauled home plus I'm out of shed room.Made me sick to let the junkman have it.

I know where a like new 105 is at 15 miles from me.

well now this is just a guess but so don't hang the massenger but 500-600 bucks as the engine is worth that and more but it is out of your hair and he has to be the one to get rid of the rest of it.
