Pulled the head off my 450D yesterday but did not have time to pull the injectors out. The last time I pulled an IH gas/diesel injector was a TD-14 I had several years back. I recall that was a real bear to get out so I am looking for suggestions.

I plan to pull the retaining bolts and wedge under the flanges with a little rapping on the flange with a hammer if they don't come easily.

If they are stuck, what are the options?

You can't do it if you have the head off, but an old IH mechanic told my Dad and I one time to loosen the injectors and start the tractor. We had one that still didn't come loose so we took the bolts all the way out and tied a rag on the inj. and started the tractor it throwed it about 3o ft.

Yea they can be , my way is to use some penatrating fluid and my self i use Zep and take a brass drift and a BMFH and give it a coulpe rapps and i have injector pullers that look like two small ladys foot bars that i use on them and don't get carried away as you can break the ears off real easy , DON't ask how i know this.
