I am overhauling my 175 manure spreader... replacing some boards and all the top edge sheet metal. The machine has served me well but there has been a lot of corrosion of the bed chain. I get 1 or 2 breaks a year. I can replace this chain with a T style link that is supposed to be a lot stronger. Does anyone have any experience with "either or" Is the T link worth an extra $300?

If you're doing heavy hauling, go with the heavier chain. For light loads & infrequent work, the regular chain will work OK. We always put a small amount of used oil in the bottom of the unit before loading to make unloading easy & it preserves the wood floor.
