Picked this old disk up for reasonable price, couple Questions. First how does the hydrolic cylinder hook for max lift to get the wheels up? There are two holes on top for cylinder to attach, maybe I need a shorter cylinder, mine is too long for lower hole. Ive got one grease fitting that wont take grease, cant get anything on it to remove it. Thanks Lou

Tool companies make grease fitting tools that apply massive over pressure to the junk in them. (that junk is forced into the bearing but won't matter in this case). It is basically a small shaft within a tube connected to a cup that fits on/against the fitting. It is filled with oil, or grease, and hit with a hammer to hydraulically shock the trash out. They work.

Standard cylinder size is a 3x8 and if it is bigger in the lenght department don't use it but if it is a 4x8 it will work.

Just hook the cylinder up wherever it fits, and CAREFULLY try it out. WATCH while you gently try to raise/lower the disk. STOP if you see that it's going to interfere and bend the cylinder or something else.

It's not like you have to buy something to try it out. You've got nothing to lose, as long as you are CAREFUL, and don't just hold the hydraulic remote lever down until something explodes. Remeber, you can STOP before it breaks.

heat from a propane soldering torch will loosen up the hard grease and dirt. Your guess is as good as any on the cylinder.
