Last thing left is the fuel tank and steering post. After that it's getting the dash on and getting it wired up. I checked with the local IH dealer and they said they could get me a harness from the alt. to the ignition switch for $80, a lot better than $200 from wiringharnesses.com. Oh, by the way- that hydrualic resivoir is HEAVY.

Yeah, your not kiddin' lots of repairs- TA, road gear, all the gaskets and quite a few little other things that my grandpa did to make it more "modern" This is a 4-H project so I am going back to close-to-original. And, of course, I will definatly put a picture when finished on.

Looking good! BTW, with a wiring diagram from Bob M, you can make your own authentic-looking wiring harness a heck-of-a-lot cheaper than you can buy one. There"s really not that much to them.

I used Bob M's diagrams and made a harness for my W6. I used shrink tube as a modern alternative to wire loom, and also soldered on all the connectors. Works great and looks good too..... ..
