Howard, what can we say. You've just plain went and done it again. Was that the little Cowman on the Allis? Looks like an interminable amount of lying went on out there with that many old fellers and that many different kinds of tractors. And hey guys, It looks like if ya want yer M tuned up, take it to Howard. I just don't guess I ever seen an M pulling a plow kicking up a rooster tail like that one does. Ya had to have that in 5th gear turning about 2450 RPM didn't ya big guy. Our hat is definately off to ya. I just wish you were about 1000 miles closer, me and Puffy would be there. Thanks Howard, that is what farming used to be all about. Harley

Thanks for sharing the pics Howard. Nice looking soil. With adquate moisture bet it can turn out big yield.

Looks like the conditons were just about right. Noticed there was even a bit of dust in a couple of the shoots. Hard to believe that just a short time ago you had that big snow.

Hope the calfing is still going okay.

Oh yeah, the old folk tale is the "farmer sliped on the ice, lit in the mud, and got up and dusted himself off" But if we ever got a wet year the soil would all wash away so I guess we just get along the best we can. We can grow more crop with less water than you would believe. God sure knowed what he was doin' when he laid out the country.

I never counted but guess there was 25 tractors. we plowed 50 acres or so. Had a lot of short lands and extra turing around this year and that slows things down. Also with the price of fuel guys didn't fill their tanks and by mid afternoon many were running short.
