I have made these and they are great to use on gravel/dirt roads. they will crown the road if used from the left edge, ot flatten if used from the center. Cable adjustment is needed to lift front first, or at the same time. Be sure to note the position of the beams, they flow into one another.
5'to 6' wide for A-B-C, 8" for all bigger.

Jim, that looks to be just what I need. Is there any way to show a bit more detail on how the cable lift system works? Thanks, Karl

The cable attaches as shown. The little arm on back has several holes to allow optional amounts of pull ont he cable. It is best when the cable lifts, just as the wheels begin lifting the rear. Thus the cable is adjusted to be tight when the tractor and maintainer are on flat level ground, and the hydro lift is just starting to put down pressure on the wheels. A turn buckle in the system is great for this task. When pulled, the cable lifts on the back of the hitch "triangle" and pushes down on the drawbar.

I can E mail you These drawings if you want, (they are bigger that way.
