Billy & Cowman got it right. A young man I know has one almost like the one pictured. The Oliver green & AC orange was awfully close on his. He also used silver "Hammertone"(Rustoleum or Krylon) on the pto shield and it looks very close to galvanized.

Howard--we had one of these critters when I was growing up and you pegged the colors! The PTO shield was bright galvanized steel and really set it off! Not sure this will post but here is a picture of one from the AT archives! Steve

green and bittersweet (orange) til about 1970, the larer ones were bittersweet with Buff (off white) wheels. Allis Chalmers orange and Oliver green are a close match.

You are right on the money Cowman. We repainted a 219 New Idea spreader last month, and the Oliver and Allis colors are almost a dead match.
It wasn"t that we planned it that way, we just had a few quarts of each laying around. It"s so close it"s almost scary.

Billy

Is this just a sickle bar mower? Any model number? Hal
PS: I think they were red and blue, but I can find out for sure with the model.
