I was looking to buy a loader for my 39 H and was curious if I can have both a 3pt and loader attached at the same time? I currently have a 3pt attached and I am not sure if they would conflict on the axle with the brackets. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks. Ed

We have an H with an Do-All 250 loader and a TSC 3 point hitch. I have the loader and the 3 pt hitch plumbed off the loader's pto pump... As far as mounting interference goes most 3pt hicth kits mount where the u-shaped drawbar mounts to the axle casting. I also have a 3pt on my 300 from saginaw county tractor which mounts the same way. So, depending on your loader, I would say it is possible to mount both on your tractor at the same time...It really makes the old H handy!

Hi Ed,

If your he!!-bent on having both, a guy can configure the things so that both can comprise the same mounting arrangement if they both want to mount at the same location on the axle.

I.E. The loader attachment making up the front half of the axle mount and the 3-point serving as the rear portion.

Like Nat says, all it takes is some iron, a torch and a welder. Hard part is crawling on and off the tractor when you're done. :>)

On my '40 H the 3 point mounts in place of the drawbar. The (Schwartz) loader brackets go outside the 3 point mounting. You just need to add a valve to the hydraulics to seperate them.

It depends. Depends on the loader. Depends on the 3pt. Depends on your ability to deal with conflicts should they arise (in other words, do you have a torch and a welder, and are you afraid to use them?).

More than likely, there will be a problem if both items bolt to the axle housings. There's only so much space.

the combination is as natural as grits/biscuits and gravy for breakfast.
