A low ash oil for diesel engines carries, within the API donut label, the designation Cl-4 Plus. That is on all licensed oils. Quit guessing.

Punch up farmoyldotcom and click around. I seem to remember Farm Oyl and I-H having a close working relationship regarding lubrication. This was a while back tho. I use Farm Oyl in a couple of Farmalls.

Thumbanger That is one reason why IH came with there IH Number engine oil Because no made what IH wanted. The use of oil fro farming was on about 3-4% of all oil used, so IH number one oil.
