Where is the correct placement for the handcrank on a "Super C" Farmall tractor? Most people just throw it in the toolbox, but where is the correct place for it?

Buddy of mine at the parts house is wanting to know. Says he has a bracket, part number 350639R91.

Thanks,
Mitch

That's the right place Bob. There should be two spring clips on the left side of the tool box that hold it there. Maybe that is the part no.

Mine are located on the left side of the toolbox under the seat down near the deck plate. The crank downleg goes to the right just ahead of the toolbox and the spinner portion of the crank points forward.

Yeah, I have remnants of those clips that got eaten away long ago. My crank handle sits in place there just fine, though, without the clips.

My C has the clip that y'all are talking about. But the SC has a hole in the upper front corner of the seat box. The long part of the crank sticks in the hole and the handle part lays out alongside the base of the gearshift. Works good, I thought that was how it was supposed to be because that's how my Grandpa did it.
