WHAT IS THE MAX. PRESSURE AN IH HYDRAULIC PUMP CAN PRODUCE. I HAVE AN OLD "H" WITH A 300 STYLE PUMP MOUNTED ON THE DIST. SHAFT. I AM RE-DOING THE ENTIRE SYSTEM AND I WANT TO INSTALL A GAUGE IN THE SYSTEM.

Just how much pressure do you think you need? Bigger cycl dia will increase your force not pressure do the math. Just what is the final object of force?

800lbs pressure on two 3in cyclinders will lift 7-800 lbs or more easy. Just remember that much wt raised over 6ft can get dangerous. Sounds like you have a pretty good loader.

The pump in good shap will make enough to blow it's self apart it is what the releif valve is set at that make your pressure and not knowen just how it is plumbed up can't say . The next thing that will have and influince is as to where the cam gear will break at . so your pressure should not be much over 1250 lbs.
