The only thing I can find is in an old "Motors" manual. It states, "If the play seems excessive in either direction the bearings must be renewed" I'm guessing that with that much play it would knock under load. Just to run slow with no load you might get away with it.

Theere is two parts to the WP, the pump itself, and a mount adapter. The adapter, or bracket, sandwitches between the pump body and the block. It has passages in it that the water flows through.
The belt lines up, but you will need a different one. A thermostat is omportant to use with a WP beacuse they will overcool and run poorly if not up to temp. A 170deg. thermostat can be placed in the top hose with a Plastic ring to keep it in place against the top engine outlet and a clamp around the ring. Be sure to put the radiator side to the radiator, or it will overheat pronto. Good luck.

A Super C water pump would fit right on a C-113. The belt will line up with the same belt driving the water pump and the generator.

there is a separate belt that runs the water pump only. It will line up fine, pump takes the place of the casting between radiator and block, nothing extra to buy or install.
