New ones are available through A&I products believe it or not...70-80 bucks...not bad for tight steering in my book...Randy

I just got one from a guy here in Upstate, NY that deals in IH salvage...it was for my Super H and not the full round but in great shape...works great. He does have the full rounds too...way cheaper than new. Email me if you want to contact him...he is a great guy...very trustworthy and a friend also.

Find a full circle gear that has never been turned on splines. You can inspect and tell by looking if teeth on one side were ever used or not.Put it on your tractor splines so center of unused part is as close to center of worm gear as you can get with wheels straigh ahead. After change you will only be on worn teeth when wheels are cut sharp and it wont be noticed then.

Why would you assume that all salvage parts are worn out?

I would never consider buying a new one.

Can you even buy new sector gears?
