Ahhhh grass hopper you must get all the timing marks on ft. of engine lined up then you must get the slot in oilpump drive to set at 30 degree of bolt hole in dist hold down So one must read book or one will be on here tryen to figure out why one can not get tractor to run or time up , and believe me timming is IMPORTANT ON 6 CYLINDER TRACTOR. So look in the book and you will see what i am talken about, before one get in trouble and find that you have to pull the engine out and pull the ft. cover AGAIN .

Ahhhhh I see.... so when I had the oil pump removed that drive also drives the dist. So when I was fooling around getting the timing marks on the crank and the cam the dist was not turning in time. Good save TV! I still have time (pun) to fix that.
I was to lazzy to go out side today. Just to warm next to the corn stove watching Hist channell.
