Okay, I'm a little slow sometimes. I always see "O/T" in the subject lines. What does O/T mean?

As long as I am getting my terminology straight, what about LOL? I see it all the time in messages, and am not sure what it means. I always thought it meant "laughing out loud", indicating that the writer was being humorous, but many times I see it, it could not possibly mean laughing out loud. In other words, it is used with nothing that is funny. Is there another meaning for "LOL"? Thanks.

I think LOL is also used by some people to mean "Lots of Luck".

O/T means "Off Topic", an acknowledgment that the post is not really related to the forum subject.

As far as I know (AFAIK) LOL means Laughing Out Loud.
