H rocker arms... please explain 2 different styles

straight, versus slanted in my parts pile and both are interchangable. Is one a super h?

Need to correct last post,looked at set to see if I remembered correct. On steel set I looked at only 2 different numbers all offset with offsets
toward each other when mounted.Each set off arms agian mounting post the offset went toward each other. Hope I made this understandable.

They made forged or cast arms on H and then went to what they called welded type made out of steel and was used on H, SH through 350 also. If you have arms removed from shaft theres 4 different 2 each.
You would need to put them on shaft so they line up with valve and push rod when installed on head.

Aaron, There may be the need for part numbers or photos. Lack of response might indicate the need for more info. I know of no "slanted" type for an H. Many engines are in this same family, so if we had #s maybe someone could help.

My shop book says that the intake valves don't get oiled. Maybe that would help identify. ken
