I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I sent in my order form, that someone had provided on this discussion forum about a month and a half back. I listed my M, B, and H on one form. All 3 showed up UPS this past Monday.

Checked out the online form that someone here listed. Did you guys see the note in the middle of the page?

Note:
After 5/31/2007 you will be able to purchase a replacement gas cap from your local CASE IH® parts distributor.

You think they are finally going to stop giving them away????

I still have all my old gas caps. They work fine.
I could have got new ones back in the 80's when I first heard about it.
I think the replacements are for the small gas caps ?

about 2 weeks ago I modified the gas cap for my w-4, and it works fine now. ..didn't want gas pissin all over the new paint job. I soldered a short length of 1" copper pipe along with a copper cap on it and drilled a small hole in that. haven't figured how to submit a picture here yet. Was also unaware of the replacements. I just ordered mine last week sometime. I went to www.ihgascap.com. The form I filled out had line that you could list several tractors. It said wait 6-8 weeks for shipping I believe. I will forget about it too until the UPS man brings it!!!

Mine came as well, but while I asked for two one for my Cub the other for my SA, I only recieved one cap. Should I have put them on separate forms?

I put both the A and the H on one form and got them both in one box from UPS ground.

Paperwork says they will not fit: F-504 above ser#13400; I 504 above ser#14272; I-606 above ser#6879 and I-2606 above ser#6879.

Also will not fit any of the following tractors: B-275; B-276; I-284; I-354; B-414; I-434; I-544; I-656; and I-2656

As I recall, the form specifically says, "One serial number per form" or something like that.

The form I used had lines where you could enter up to six different tractors and serial numbers. I filled in two, one for my A and one for my H and got them both in one box. That is all I know about it first hand.

I called my IH dealer and asked about the free replacement gas caps and he laughed at me. Told me they quit that years ago. I guess he meant at the dealerships.
