The cub was running like a champ until I noticed the front main seal around the pulley started leaking pretty bad. So, drain the antifreeze, unbolt the front axle/radiator from the front of the motor. I was wondering what the process is for taking the front cover off of the motor, more specifically, how do I get the pulley off.

Check this link (you may have to cut and paste) and then select crank pulley removal from the menu. It takes a little while to load but there are good photos as well as descriptions. >Link

The>Link pulley is a friction fit and it pulls hard. Whatever puller you use, make sure you put some backing between the puller and the pulley rear flange as they will break fairly easy.
