When I painted the 14 I got to thinking about the original toolbox, it has never had a clasp on it to hold it shut. It is a common item, and not such a big deal, but I don't know what one is supposed to look like. Now, a lack of knowledge has never stopped me before, so I set out to make one.

Is this anything how the original one looked? I know, it really doesn't make any difference on my old farming tractor, but I am curious.

Hey Paul, you can't fool me!... THAT'S a flashbang grenade pin!...(yeah, I know, it isn't, but that WAS the first thing that came to my mind when I saw it)

Dang,,,,, ,I didn't think of that. Being a pack-rat, I've got a bunch of those laying around, and I would'nt have had to bend the loops.

Just goes toward making the tractor unique. I have heard stories of people identifiying the family tractor decades later by modifications of that nature and repurchasing. I agree with Allan.
I think it is a fine job.

Heck, I think you did an outstanding job of "engineering". :>)

My tired old pee-brain would never have thought of that. :>(
