The lugs are different, giving a different effective rim offset. I think the bolt circle is enough different to cause other problems.

No. Other than being 24" in diameter, they're different. I don't think the Cub rims will even bolt up to an A because the lug bolts are smaller. You could probably go the other way, maybe, with bushings, if the holes line up.

The CUB,A and B even SUPER A had different size rims avail. Anywhere from 5-10in wide and aftermarket had even wider. What size do your mwasure outside to outside, If the measure 8in they would be 7in rim as outside is 1in wider than where the bead sets so you can go from there. Does yours have the square riveted loops or they welded? New rims with the original riveted loop are pricey.

both are 24 inch rims, but A rims are wider.
