I took a look at that Farmall with the mounted potato harvester on it. The harvester isn't IH, but it was mounted pretty well. The tractor is a Farmall M, narrow front, serial # indicates 1947. Looks pretty good, should run. Tin is very straight, repaint is very good, but wheels and engine haven't been repainted. Tires are cracked, but not too bad. Missing drawbar assembly, but that's minor. I'll have to find out if it's going to an auction, or if the bank will sell it privately. What do you guys think? Would this be a good unit to convert me from green to red?

You better start dealing on it right now Specter, now that you have shown it on this forum!
Now just where would it be exactly?!!!!! !!!
Let me think now, you are in Alberta so it must be there too, so if I hook onto my trailer when I come out to visit my brother..... ..... ..!

I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you. ;-)

It could take me a while to pursue, though. The land was foreclosed on, and is currently deserted, so it could be tough to figure out who to deal with.

I'm game for a challenge, though! I think this one is worth it! :-)

Yessir if a Farmall M won't convert you then you probably can't be converted. They are plentiful, but that particular one looks good. If it's fairly close by that is also a big plus these days.

Yeah, I think that one will get me hooked!

Yup, the left axle is lengthened to accomodate the potato harvester. They put a big, heavy cast iron axle clamp on there to hook on the extension. Thank goodness they didn't weld it on!
