Just a quick question for all for ya. I currently have two transmisions for f-20s that I do not need. They are out of parts tractors that I purchased for parts for the f-20 that I am restoring. Well I have advertised locally and no one was interested in them. SO I am kind of stuck wondering what to do. The end of this month there is a big Tractor Autcion in Columbia City Indiana wchich is about 20 miles from were I live. they sell lots of parts as well. I was wonding if it would be worth my effort to haul them there and try to sell them. If they don't I have to pay a fee for running them though. Or should I just take them down to the local srcap yard and sell them for scrap. I will point out that I currently have no pick up so I would have to pay someone to haul them to the aution and then back home if they do not sell. Thanks for your advise

Face the two rear ends toward each other; put the rails back in them; and bolt them together to make a nice workbench.

You may want to save the gears, bearings and shafts out of them. Like Cowman said, the castings last forever and rarely break, so there are a lot of them around. Do either of them have the high-speed 4th gear? That set will sell nicely. Other than that, the innards are nice fro replacement, although I have never seen a problem with the F-20 trannies. However, I may want to buy some bearings from you.

save the brakes out of them and the rest just as well go to the iron buyers. There are lots of rear ends out there to meet all the demand for parts. We are cutting up several this week. I have plenty more whole ones for parts and scrap prices are at an all-time high.
