Last fall I fixed all the shifting linkage on my 706 but it still dont go in reverse worth a hoot so I`m goin inside . Can you give me a parts list , I`d like to have everything laying here so I can put it right back together and not have to wait on parts .

That would be hard to do with out looking at everything ya may only need the shaft and new key for the rev. shift fork or ya may need to rebuild the top cover and new cam and piviot new rollers spring the cam key and pin new shift lever depends on how bad everything is . Myself i rebuild the top cover rather then buying a new one it requires some machine work and making up two bushungs but i could get that done for less then the cost of a new aftermarket cover and felt that it was better but the guy that did them for me had it down to a sicense and it only took him a littel over and hour and half to bore out the cover and make the two bushings . Now one thing about the shifting on the 06-86 seires tractors is that the amount of slop has to be kept to the minium sinnce the way it was designed . I think that they could have done a better job on it but i am not smart enough to improve it also the main thing is to keep the clutch adjustment and dump valve correct that way you are not tryen to force it out of gear and it will shift alot better.
