How do you know where to set the slide bolt on the clutch of a cub? How do I know if the clutch is fully engaged?

Thanks

Rotate the lever with the slot in it counterclockwise until you have 1 inch of pedal free travel. check to see if you have 1/8 clearance between throwout bearing and fingers with the clutch pedal to the rear.

On the early modle cub. the clutch is adjusted from under the clutch housing. take off the cover. tale the pin out of the yoke. loosen the lock nut and turn the yoke. tho get 1" of free travle in the pedel. If you send me a e-mail address I will send the page out of the book. Bill
