I have a Farmall M with a cracked block. I have a TD6 with a good block i was wondering if i fould take the block out of the TD6 and strip it down and rebuild it with all the parts from my gas M block to to make a good gas block for it?

Here's a web site for tractor salvage yards. Hal
PS: Some may be in your area and it contains 16 pages.

your best bet is to go to a tractor junkyard and find a good engine that is stuck or what not and tear it down replacing it with your stuff or new.

The external similarity is cosmetic only, they have no common components or measurements. The diesel has no chance of running like a gasser for making power. The idea is interesting, the nature of the beasts are incompatible.
The TD6 has more value as that (or parted out) than to attempt to make a gasser out of it.
