Help,

We were given a old McCormic Farmall Tractor. I have no clue as to what year it is or what it is worth. The only clues I have found is on the model it states "M" and I have a serial number that dosn't seem to match anything on this website..... . I need some help, right now it runs well, but I am sure in the future it will need work. Any suggestions on my mystery would be greatly appreciated!
thanks!

You will not find your exact serial number listed. What you will find is the beginning serial number for each year produced. Your serial number will fall somewhere in between the beginning number for a given year, and the beginning number for the following year. Kind of a greater than but less than thing.

It would help if you could post a picture. Otherwise try the "Galleries" section at the left side of this page. You can narrow your search to just Farmall in the picture galleries. Give us the serial number and that will help also. It should be on a metal tag on the clutch housing or by the seat. If it is an M that was/is a very popular model and could be wide front end or narrow front end and could be any where from 1939 to early 1950's. Dave.

FBX? If it is a Farmall M it would be FBK. A Farmall H would be FBH.
