I have a late 40's M Farmall that runs, the metal is in good condition, and it has a loader. I have a guy interested in buying it, but he won't name a price. What would this be worth?

I just bought a late 40's M in very good shape, but the charging system was not working. I paid $700 and thought it was a good price. Is the loader a trip? I think CNKS is close with his price.

If you the seller dont know what it is worth how do you plan on selling it. There has to be someone you know who would be able to set a price for it. We here cannot see the tractor and typw of loader and the shape it is in tires,hy system, attachments on the loader, how high does it lift, what sizeare the cycls on the loader and the list goes on and on. Good M with good loader could be worth 3,00 or more.

The seller should make the first stab at the price. The tractor is probably worth $1000-$1500, add $2-400 for the loader, maybe -- I'm not a loader person.
