Bent hub - who would'a thunk it?

I sure never thought about checking the big, thick, heavy, cast front wheel hub of a C/SC for being bent, but I just bought one that was! I would have thought that it would break rather than bend. Turns out I bought a pair and needed only one, so glad the price was really right.

A lot of the cast parts on the old tractors are a good grade of ductile iron or cast steel, not brittle cast iron. Therefore, those castings can bend and also can be welded by someone that knows how.
