i havent rebuilt it yet i just took it apart and cleaned it up. i am going to rebuild it eventually i am just trying to get it running to make sure everything works. does anyone know by chance if there is supposed to be a expansion plug in the front of the steering box. it looks like there is supposed to be one but i cant tell for sure. this is the first tractor that i bought that might have a mag in it. is there an easy way to tell the differance. i have seen a tag yet but havent looked that hard. thanks chris

To start with 3/4 out for idle and 1-1/2 for main and then go from there

The Cub IH carburetor has a non-adjustable main jet. Most Cubs were equipped with the IH carburetor.

I knew some did and some didn't just not which where the after market type. But that adjustment works for alomst all carbs when you have just rebuilt one
