Howdy. Looking for a fairly accurate weight for a 1466 tractor with cab and tires with liquid weight. I may be purchasing one and need to know what weight trailer I'll need to haul her around on. Thanks!

I think that you will be in the 16-18,000 lb range. I know a farmer that has to drain the fluid out of the tires to get down to 15,500 for pulling. That leaves the cab and a couple of weights. He can pull it in the 18,000 lb class with cab, a couple of weigths and fluid in his 23.8x38s. Plan on the conservative side and plan on at least 18,000 or even better go for the 20,000 lb side of caution. It is better to err on the safe side.

Well you could be looking at 18500 or over depending on what all is on it . I know for a fact that one with a cab 20.8x38 loaded and three sets of wheel weights and a full rack of ft. weights is all i realy wanted on my tandem dual gooseneck being pulled with a 1 ton dual wheel 4X4 with a real strong running 460 and 5 speed the one i hauled went almost 20000. but some one will tell ya the shipping weight and there is a bunch of differance between shipping and what it weighs in her work clothes .
