Big potato grower and pea grower south in next county decides it is time to clean up the boneyard. So far we have brought out Allis Chalmers 185 Diesel and is now running and ready for fieldwork 1500 dollars, I.H Hydro 100 that all it needed was fluids changed and lights rewired hydro seems tight and pretty straight 1500 Dollars, yesterday a 52 Super C very straight and complete except fenders should run with a little work 500 Dollars, 49 H farmall nothing special but complete and straight and loose 200 dollars. There is still a Hydro 186 and a 1586 Front wheel assist with cab looks to be sound tractor that needs an offer made. I know nothing about that thing and don't know what is a fair offer. Any Ideas? Lots of other old cultivators and Brillion packer and much more. Once in a while you just get these deals come along I guess. Migraine

Alright, you"ve got everybody drooling now. I could see that 1586 or Hydro 186 in my yard! The others too, for that matter. I am looking for a Brillion packer with transport wheels, around 14 or 15 foot. Anything like that there? How close to WI?
Paul

Well guys, here's the situation as of 6 p.m. Tues eve. The Allis 185 and Hydro 100 are already sold and in the new owners sheds. The Super C and H are on my gooseneck trailer in front of my house and I tried to get the H running a bit ago but got dark on me. The Hydro 186 they have decided to keep and the 1586 front wheel assist got bought out from under me for (get this) 3500 dollars. I'm sure that tractor could be cleaned up and sold for 7-8000 bucks in a heartbeat. Oh well snooze and lose. Yes Paul there is a 12 or 13 foot Brillion packer with transport wheels and cylinders and in very nice shape. I did personally make an offer of 1000 dollars today and looks like that will fly. There is also a 1955 R-160 flatbed truck that they bought new and ran 2 years ago for make an offer. All kinds of cultivators and sprayers and pumps nd who knows what all. Kinda like shopping at Macy's only all iron stuff. Migraine

Rusty:

F250, 7.3L Turbo diesel 4.11 gears 5spd xcab...

I don't have a trailer for it though, although I know where I could put my hands on a good 22' gooseneck if I thought I could talk migraine out of that hydro 100 for $2k.

You will not pull that one with a pickup truck. That is a heck of a deal on a Hydro 100.

I hope that it would pull it, we have had our 1066 Hydro on a Gooseneck trailer being pulled by Dads Chevy 6.5 turbo Diesel, and that power strock is more of a truck than the 6.5

JT:

Yea, it would be a load behind my truck, about a ton heavier than the 856 that sits back there ocassionally.

Ya but Rob, I could be wrong, i was once before, but I think migraine is over on the west side of the BIG,BIG Hills. You know, west of everything else, and you'll need a run at them hills just to get to the top, and then ya gotta slow down doming down Cabbage and several others. Good luck Harley

Hey Harley you old Iowa native. Yep I'm out here all by myself (well not really, actually come to think of it) way over the big big hills . 3 miles from Canada and 8 miles from the big blue Pacific. If you take a map of U.S. and go as far northwest as you can push your finger there you will find us 2o miles north of Bellingham Washington. No open roads here all clogged with Boeing, Microsoft, and costruction equipment. But we find little pockets of retained farm land , herds of dairy cows and still some logging. Not like the days in Iowa though. Have a good one. Migraine
