hello,
i was wondering how far i would have to put a gas tank above a carb.? see i am working on this wisconsin vf4 and i think a five gal. tank on it. but i dont have time to get a fuel pump, so i was wondering how far i have to put the gas tank above the carb. to make it run okay.?? like 2 in or ???? and i do know the whole thing, but how far. i dont know so if anyone could help . thanks

As long as the drain cock on the tank is above the carburetor a few inches, it should let the gas gravity flow to the carburetor. I would make sure you have a shutoff valve just in case
you need to shut off the gas. I would be careful
running that engine indoors due to carbon monxide
and any gas fumes in an inclosed area. Hal
