I have an International B250 that my father had for thirty years. I am in the process of restoring it and am looking for info on its year of manufacture. The serial no is 23199.

Also wondering if anyone knows where I can get a steering wheel and bonnet badges. The steering wheel is qite odd in as much as it has a large (approx) 2 inch spline and is held on with a large chrome nut which screws to the inside of the steering shaft.

Hope someone can help as I am only new to all this.

Thanks David

David, as soon as I started reading your post and got to "Bonnet Badges" I knew you were from UK or Australia/New Zealand. I have a B250. I will have to look at the steering wheel, when you say a two inch spline it sounds too large. The "Bonnet Badges" should be chrome "International" If you have a Case I-H dealer near you, you might be surprised at what they can still get for you. I just got a valve cover gasket for mine, took three days for them to get it. If you cannot find what you need give me a shout. Ontario Used Tractor Parts has at least 3 B250's in their inventory, I got a dashboard panel off of one, I am going to see them in the next month or so and I can find out about the "Bonnet badges" and price. What is wrong with your steering wheel? Many wheels can be repaired even if some of the hard rubber has broken away. Keep us posted, someone closer to you may have what you need , if not ping me....Mike in Exeter Ontario

Mike thanks for the reply. My wheel has large cracks and I thought maybe overseas they may be after market ones available. I have been able to get everythingg else I need. Genuine guages, seals, brake packsand actuators either through International or after market but it is the wheel that eludes me. The one I have has a steering rod down each side and has the large spline as "partsman" has stated.

Early B250s had 2 arm steering like N series Fords. Those 250s had a large spline steering wheel, over 2".
