I have a Super A with factory gas pedal but front axle is round and has no additional stabilizer bars to engine. Is this an original make or a " hybrid "

I figured not too many folks know of the Homochitto River and Homochitto National Forest. I grew up in MS around there. How's that new lake Okhissa coming along? Did it fill up yet?

Okhissa is about 2/3s full by volume. I work on the Homochitto NF and spent some time preparing fishing structure in Okhissa. What's your interest in Super A's?

I have a 1950 Super A. I currently live in Dallas, grew up in Natchez.

I restored my grandfather's 19?? Super A and then purchased the Industrial with a finishing mower to work with. Im sort of familiar with Natchez, grew up near McComb. You're probaly more familiar with Sandy Creek WMA than I, don't get to that part of the forest very often

In my opinion it is unsafe and (despite it being operational) prone to cause major dammage to the front casting, to not have the Y shaped bracing behind the axle. Even if no brackets are there, I would persue finding appropriate pieces, or fabricating them from substantial materials, with a central pivot.
Untill then I would drive it on smooth ground, or not at all.

Check your serial number. If it starts with FAA it is a Farmall that has had an accelerator added, if it starts with IAA it is a International that has had the front axle changed.
