Are there any numbers cast into the old ground driven IH corn binders that would help me figure out the model# so I can order a manual?
Thanks, Kevin

Well, it's a one row, driven by one large drivewheel, but has a smaller wheel on the opposite side. Would have had a seat over the drive wheel. Was set up to have a power bundle carrier/elevator that drove off of a small driveshaft with universal joints at the back of the chute. 'L' shaped handle engages the spring loaded clutch to activate the drive. I don't know what else to look for. Is there a part # off anything that might help? There is a picture in my yahoo album, I'll try putting it here...Thanks Howard.

I'm about to go out and work on the 240, so I'll look around the binder and post what I can find when I come in for lunch. Thanks, Kevin
