Which ones would be better to put on my F-12, it currently has flat spoke steel wheels on the back and a flat spoke cutoff on the front. I would like to get rubber for the rear, but dont know which one to go with, flat spoke to match or round spoke because they are harder to find.

I'd look more to tires size. 40" rubber is quite a bite of money hence there seam to be more 40" round spokes available around me than the 36's. I was able to find 36's but it took time and I'm still looking for one with a 8" rim.

I may be wrong, but I think the only "flat spoke" rear wheels are cutoff steel wheels, which wouldn't be original...although they'd probably be easy to find. I have a set of F-12/14 round spokes I'm considering putting up for sale, but distance may be a factor.

You should be able to trade your rear steel for good round spokes. Then buy a pair of round spokes for the front as they are not hard to find.
