I called Clutch & Joint yesterday morning & talked to the manager. I just ask him how my bill could be so high when the dealer had them for 245 and Hy Cap has the heavy duty kit with bearings for 308. I told him I would pay it if I had to but wouldn't be happy about it. He said wait to hear from him. He called this morning and my bill is now 275.18. He even thanked me for bringing it to his attention.

I think you did the right thing there Larry.

To stick them with the clutch and walk away would be tempting, but then they may not even realize why it happened that way. Calling them on it and giving a chance to make it right lets them know that they have a problem that needs to be addressed.

Now, if they didn't make it right when there was a chance to, then I'd stick them with it.

BTW, I'd keep an eye on them in the future. It may have been a one-time fluke mistake, but why take a chance?

Ya caught him and he figured it out that he could not get away with it this time . The reason why i always used Hy Cap stuff is that if i had a problem with any of there product they would pay the labor to replace it and out of all the other aftermarket co. that sold the clutches and T/A's they were the only ones that did that and after 19 years of installing there stuff i never had a problem as long as i fallowed there instulation process and spec.
