I am beginning to look for an IH Cub and have never have anything IH before. Is there a year when IH made major changes to the Cub? I know that sometime in the 60's they raised the h.p. by using different pistons and and camshaft. I supose that the newer the tractor the better.
Thanks.

Go here and read question 10 before you go look at a Cub.

Over the years, many things on the Cub changed but there really wasn't any one time for a big change you need to be concerned about.

You didn't say what you were going to use it for but for a utility tractor I'd suggest getting an A or B model. I have a Cub and wish I could trade it for an A or B! Cubs have too many limitations, tend to tip over especially to the left and don't have enough power to pull the slack out of your suspenders. Other than that they're kinda cute. A Cub Lowboy would be a better choice in my opinion.
